A deep, rich flavorful cup of coffee, this is our smoothest Indonesian coffee. Soft nutty flavors intertwine with hints of earthy notes that linger long after the initial sip.
Smallholder farmers from the villages of Curah Tatal and Kayumas on the Ljen Plateau in eastern Java grow this coffee at altitudes up to 5000 feet. Our “Taman Dadar” coffee (meaning flower garden, as the local farmers call this area) is distinct from the vast majority of the coffee grown in Java, which is cultivated on plantations controlled by the Indonesian government.
The farmers utilize organic growing practices and also participate in the Rainforest Alliance certification program. The flavors found in Java are very approachable making this coffee a perfect stand-alone cup or the base for your own special blend.
